In its first Asian tour, reConvert will drop by FP and discuss about two of its latest projects: "WDWG.art (Where Do We Go...?)", and "Amoeba".
WDWG is an interactive work created by reConvert during COVID-19 isolation, in collaboration with visual artists. In this piece, the audience abandons its traditional passive role and becomes a fundamental part of the existence and creation of the work. "Amoeba", created by Fernando Manassero in collaboration with reConvert, presents itself as a throbbing texture, densely populated by communities of audiovisual microorganisms, that spread through the space of the venue through sound, video, and performance. It has been recently released in vinyl format. reConvert invites you to this artist sharing to discuss all the aspects involved in the creative processes of both pieces, the consequence of creating in the middle of the pandemic, the use of objects and technology in the creative process or the collaborative practices.
