INTERSPECIES MUSICKING proposes an experiment where the deliberate act of performing (a self, a relation, a community, a movement, a sound) is part of an ecology of expression qua inter-being: chattering humans, barking dogs, breeding dust, humming aircons, electromagnetic waves, cosmic rays... INTERSPECIES MUSICKING is not limited to the natural and technical world, but also reaches out to spiritual and extraterrestrial beings. It opposes the control of expression (self, alien, solid state, cosmic) through habit, inhibition score or style, with creative negentropie when inter-beings gather and play about, along, against, by ear...
